Ware & Co Exteriors
Every layer, in order, exactly as it goes on the house. No guessing what's under the shingles.
Step one
Changes where the build sequence starts.
Re-roof
Starts with a complete tear-off down to the decking, then rebuilds every layer from there.
New build
Deck is already fresh — the sequence starts at ice & water shield and underlayment.
Step two
Pick the closest match — the build visual and the estimate below both adjust to it.
Simple
One or two roof planes, no valleys, few penetrations. Ranch and rambler style homes.
Moderate
Multiple roof planes meeting at hips, one or two valleys, a handful of penetrations.
Complex
Several wings, valleys, and dormers. Custom and estate-style homes.
Old shingles, underlayment, and flashing stripped down to bare deck. Every board gets inspected before anything new goes back on.
Soft or delaminated sheathing replaced. No new roof goes over a compromised deck — this is where callbacks get prevented.
Self-adhered membrane running a full 36 inches up from every eave edge, plus full coverage in every valley — the last line of defense against ice damming and wind-driven rain, right where Utah winters attack first.
Full-deck coverage. Secondary water barrier that also protects the deck during install before the final layer goes down.
New boots on every penetration, new step and counter flashing at walls and chimneys. The most common leak points, done right the first time.
Same build underneath — the finish layer is where look, warranty, and price separate.
Applies to the HDZ and UHDZ lines. Sequoia and tile each have their own separate color options — ask for those swatches directly.
Add-ons that change how the roof performs and looks — stack any combination.
Continuous exhaust venting along the ridge. Pulls hot, moist attic air out year-round — reduces heat buildup in summer and ice damming in winter, and extends shingle life.
Open metal valleys instead of woven shingle valleys. Sheds water and debris faster, cuts granule wash, and is the stronger choice in heavy snow or rain areas.
Dimensional cap shingles along hips and ridge instead of standard 3-tab cap. Higher wind rating, and gives the roofline a finished, dimensional look that matches architectural shingles.
